Water damage in vanity of bathroom leads to mold growth

SERVPRO of Peoria/W. Glendale responded to a call from this Glendale homeowner. They called when the leaky pipes became a busted pipe and the water damage caused mold in the under sink cabinets. We arrived prepared to mitigate the water damage and remediate the mold. Clearly the cabinets needed to be replaced as the water and mold left them extremely damaged and warped. We set up containment and began removing all damaged materials. We cleaned the area and set drying equipment to ensure the affected area was completely dry. We also treated the area with an anti-mold agent to prevent possible future re-growth. When you have water damage it is important to mitigate it quickly to avoid secondary damage.
